“I joined Anthony Collins in November 2019, after completing my LPC and working as a paralegal at an international law firm.

A pivotal factor that attracted me to Anthony Collins was the firm’s profound commitment to improving lives, communities, and society. I wanted to work in a firm where the values resonate with my personal values, and I found a perfect match in Anthony Collins.

After a year of working as a Legal Assistant in the firm’s corporate litigation department, I decided to apply for a training contract and was delighted when I was successful. I am currently in the second seat of my training contract in housing management; my first seat was in planning. For my second year, I hope to gain some private client experience. There are few firms where you can complete both commercial and private client seats as part of your training contract and this is another reason why Anthony Collins stood out to me. The knowledge and experience I have gained at Anthony Collins will be invaluable to me in my future career as a solicitor. During my time as a trainee, I have had the opportunity to organise a fundraising campaign for the Pakistan floods raising £1000. I’ve participated in an inter-firm sports day for the Child Brain Injury Trust, and I have also had the opportunity to attend a team-building trainee away day with my fellow trainees which I enjoyed thoroughly.”
